The 1881 Heritage is located at a prime location in Tsim Sha Tsui. Just a few steps away from the Star Ferry Terminal and opposite of Harbour City, one of Hong Kong’s largest shopping malls. In near proximity are other Hong Kong attractions such as Victoria Harbor, the Clock Tower, Avenue of Stars or Hong Kong Museum of Art.

As the former Marine Police Headquarter, this place has been transformed into a “new” cultural and shopping landmark and is called 1881 Heritage where visitors can explore and enjoy the more than 120-year old historical settings. The Hong Kong Marine Police used this site and buildings from the 1880s to 1996. The unique Victorian architecture and colonial style attracts visitors and shoppers to stop by and take photos. The 1881 Heritage and its surrounding has become a popular photography location for young couples, newlyweds and graduates, especially at night when the 1881 Heritage is illuminated. This place is always themed up in holidays such as Xmas and Chinese New Year that people have to line up for taking photos.

The 1881 Heritage now features several luxury shops, a heritage hotel, a Heritage Hall as well as several fine dining options and hip bars. A number of these luxury shops have chosen the 1881 Heritage as their first address in Hong Kong and are present with a flagship store. By MTR: Take the MTR to Tsim Sha Tsui and exit the Station via the Exit E. Then walk towards Salisbury Road, turn right and walk up the pedestrian tunnel. You will find the 1881 Heritage just opposite of the YMCA.
