What is ACGHK? It is a material entertainment fair that focusing on animations, comics and games, which is always held during schools’ summer vacation so that all the kids have chance to join. In this fair, there will be toys, comics, games, and limited edition collectibles to sell, such as transformers, star wars, Lego as well as lots of Japanese cartoon like Crayon Shin-chan, Doraemon, and Gundam. 2011 the 13th ACGHK will be held from 29th of July till 2nd of August 10am to 9 pm daily in Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center (close at 8pm on 2nd of August). In order to get the limited collectibles, hundreds of fans started to line up outside the venue in advance. Some have already waited from 10 days ago. This year one attraction is the first customer can use only one HK dollar to buy a 18K gold limited edition figure “Saint Seiya” (selling price HK$1986). There are only 100 pieces of this figure around world and it is said the price will rise to over HK$20000.

In order to get a good place, many fans paid to hire people to stand in line for them with HK$28-33 per hour. Some professional buyers even hired 100 people to line up just for a limited edition of toys.
