One last piece of advice: Make sure to travel to the event way ahead of the scheduled time. Special transport and traffic arrangement will be in place for the National Day. This includes closure of roads as well as exits of MTR stations. So double-check with your hotel concierge, the official Transport Department Website and/or the police officers on the street.
In the past years, people arrived at the most popular sight-seeing spots hours ahead of the scheduled start of the fireworks. In order to prevent possible overfilling’s Police will close entrance as soon as these spots maximum spectators. So make sure to plan enough time to get a decent spot to watch and enjoy. In addition, make sure to keep an eye on your belongings. Believe us…the places will be packed with people.
