Hong Kong’s Times Square Shopping Mall is hosting the special One Piece Docks at Hong Kong Exhibition this summer. In case you are a fan of this popular Japanese Anime / Manga created by Eiichiro Oda, you should not miss this opportunity to take a look at this special exhibition. This special exhibition takes place during July 30 to August 31, 2014. So are you ready to hang out with the Straw Hat Pirates?

When you walk to the Times Square shopping mall you already will notice from far distance that the Times Square clock tower is wearing a huge Monkey D. Luffy’s hat. It is one of the popular photo points and if you choose a good angle you will be able to “wear” Luffy’s hat on your photographs. ;)

Just next to the iconic clock tower is a life-size reproduction of the Thousand Sunny Pirate Ship. If you have some time you can queue up and board this cool pirate ship from the One Piece series.

In case you are big fan of Chopperman, there are about 20 life-size figures outside the Times Square shopping mall (It’s too dark inside and crowded. I didn’t manage to get a photo).
The One Piece Docks at Hong Kong event has some additional surprises if you step inside the Times Square shopping mall. On the 2nd floor there is a huge exhibition of One Piece toys, dioramas and displays. In addition, there are several life-size figures of the most popular One Piece characters including sexy and cute Hami, Brooke, Zoro and of course Luffy.

If you look up, you will notice a life-size replica of the Going Merry ship (the mast of the ship is about 11 meter high). It seems that the previous ship of the One Piece series is floating through the Times Square shopping mall which is quite impressive.

Last but not least, there is a small One Piece Pop-Up store selling One Piece merchandise, limited editions and collectors items including model kits, t-shirts and of course figure. There is a special limited edition Chopperman figure created for this event (selling around HK$ 150).
