Hong Kong McDonald’s last Hello Kitty promotion is just a few months ago (and I guess most of us locals still remember the Hello Kitty K-League World Cup Soccer Plush Toys promotion).
Well, Chinese New Year 2015 is approaching and Hong Kong McDonald’s is launching another set of Hello Kitty plush toys. This time Hong Kong McDonald’s launches the Hello Kitty Bubbly Day Collection (which already has been a huge success in Singapore and Malaysia).
Similar to previous McDonald’s Hello Kitty Plush Toy Collections, Hello Kitty will dress up as different characters. Since last year has been Hello Kitty’s 40th Anniversary, Hello Kitty will dress up as the most popular Sanrio characters.
This time Hello Kitty fans can choose from Hello Kitty dressed up as popular bunny My Melody, cute frog Kerokerokeroppi, adorable golden retriever Pompompurin, cute monkey Osaru No Monkichi or charming penguin Tuxedosam.

Starting from January 8th, 2015 fans can purchase a special Hello Kitty “Bubbly Day” Limited Collector’s Edition set for HK$ 238. This set includes the five Hello Kitty “Bubbly Day” characters plus the highly limited and exclusive Hello Kitty dressed up as a traditional Japanese Daruma Good Luck doll – Lucky Bubbly.

In case you don’t want a complete set or cannot get your hands on the limited edition Hello Kitty plush toy set, you are able to purchase the Hello Kitty Bubbly Day characters separately with any food purchase at McDonald’s Hong Kong for HK$ 28.
Similar to previous McDonald’s x Hello Kitty promotions, McDonald’s will also launch a special Hello Kitty edition, which is only available when ordering food for delivery. For every purchase of HK$ 70 or above Hello Kitty fans can redeem a special edition “Hello Kitty Bubbly Day x McDelivery Plush Toy” in form of Hello Kitty dressed up as popular Sanrio character Hangyodon for HK$ 28.
