The 2012 Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong (ACGHK) Fair is one of the hottest and most anticipated fairs not only among Hong Kong youth and teenagers. The Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong or in short “Ani-Com and Games” is THE event in digital entertainment, comics, animation, video and computer games as well as toys and collectible items of the year. Traditionally, this fair is held during Hong Kong high-schools summer vacations to give all teenagers and young at hearts a chance to visit and participate at this unique fair. Being packed with the latest trends in electronic entertainment, comics and animation the Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong is one of the most influential shows in Asia. Last year’s fair attracted almost 700,000 visitors and you are able to find the latest gaming gadgets (X-Box, Playstation, Wii) as well as your favorite comic characters including popular Star Wars, Gundam, Lego, Bandai, Hasbro, Toys’R’Us, Transformers, Superman, Batman or the latest anime and comic trends from Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Especially, if you are interested in limited edition toys and collectibles you should mark down this special fair. Last year’s special limited edition was a 18K gold “Saint Seiya” action figure which you could buy for HK$ 1 (suggested retail price was HK$ 1986) if you had the guts to stand in line days in advance.

When is the Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong?
The 2012 is the 14th Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong and is held from July 27 to 31 (daily) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. Opening hours of the Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong are from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Please note that at the last day the fair already closes at 8:00 pm.
Do I need to buy entrance ticket for Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong?
The entrance ticket is HK$ 30. You can purchase from designated 7-Eleven or Circle K convenient stores or purchase directly at the ACGHK fair. Both Octopus Card and cash payments are accepted. Every adult can take a child under eleven-year old for free entering. Please be aware that if you purchase ticket at the fair with cash, the HK$ 500 and HK$ 1000 notes will not be accepted.
