    • I usually would not recommend spending too much time on these four attractions unless you are accompanied with children, you have sufficient time to spend on Lantau Island or you are really interested in these activities.

    • If you have visited here before, you should wonder where is the Monkey’s Tale Theater. Unfortunately, it has been cancelled and replaced by the new Motion 360.

  • Photo and fun spot: Bodhi Wishing Tree and Shrine

Right in the middle of the village you will find a giant Bodhi tree. Bodhi tree is also considered “Tree of Awakening”, where the Buddha attained enlightenment.

The Bodhi Tree has combined Hong Kong’s local tradition and been hanging with many “Joss paper” (wishing placards). Locals believe that the higher you can throw the Joss paper, the better chance that your wish will come true. The most famous joss paper tradition in Hong Kong is in Lam Tsuen Well-Wishing Festival. Every year, especially around the Chinese New Year, countless visitors will join the celebration and make wishes in Lam Tsuen.
