Opened in 2006, the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Museum honors the achievement of one of the most influential persons of the early 20th century in China, who stayed much of his time in Hong Kong. Dr. Sun Yat-sen is closely correlated with the transformation of China. As a visitor you have a chance to relive this exciting process through exhibitions and showcases in Dr. Sun Yat-sen Museum covering Dr. Sun Yat-sen life and achievements and gain insights how the monarchy was transformed to a new republic. In addition, visitors will understand and gain knowledge about Hong Kong’s role and why Hong Kong played an important role in this transformation process.

10:00am-6:00pm (Mon-Wed, Fri);
10:00am-7:00pm (Sat, Sun and Public Holidays);
10:00am-5:00pm (Christmas Eve and Chinese New Year’s Eve);
Closed on Thursday (except public holidays, the anniversaries of Dr Sun’s birth on 12 November and death on 12 March) and the first two days of the Chinese New Yea

How to Get to Dr. Sun Yat-sen Museum:

From Central MTR Station take Exit D2 and walk along Queen’s Road Central. Then take the famous Mid-level escalator. When you reached Caine Road get off and turn right. Walk about 5 minutes towards the museum.
