First-Ever Doraemon 3D Octopus Card

3D Doraemon Octopus – Adult

The Octopus Card Company introduces the first-ever “Doraemon 3D Octopus”. The popular and famous Japanese cartoon character Doraemon will be available in a special limited 3D edition of the commonly used Octopus Card for the first time ever. Three lovely and stylish designs of the Doraemon 3D Octopus” will be available starting from August 28, 2013. Hong Kong’s Octopus Company will issue a normal adult Doraemon 3D Octopus figure as well as two versions for the Child Octopus.

The adult version will feature a full body Doraemon figurine with a detachable “anywhere door” pendant. Fans of the Japanese Doraemon will know immediately what this unique “Anywhere Door” gadget is for (in the manga series Doraemon can use this special door to travel to any place he desires). The adult Doraemon 3D Octopus figure is fully colored and looks exactly like the cartoon character.

The child version of the Doraemon 3D Octopus will be available in two different colors and comes in the choices of mono blue and mono pink. Unfortunately, these versions don’t come with an additional gadget. However, the child version of the Doraemon 3D Octopus will have a special designed lanyard.

This special edition Doraemon 3D Octopus Card figure is available at every 7-Eleven and can be purchased for HK$ 178 from August 28, 2013 onwards. Please note that the neither the adult version nor the child edition of the Doraemon 3D Octopus has any deposit or initial value stored on them.
