HKGCC Free Ride Day 2013

The “Free Ride Day” event has been launched with the 150th anniversary of Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce two years ago in 2011. This special event was an immediate success and extremely well-received by the public and the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce decided to repeat the “Free Ride Day” event in 2012 as well.

The idea behind this unique event has been not only to enhance the public awareness of the chamber as the voice of business, but also to show their way of caring for the community bringing Hong Kong’s community closer together. In case you might wonder why the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce choose May 29th for this special event. The answer is very simple: May 29th, 1861 was the founding date of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce.

We hope that the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce will continue to promote its business with this special event in the future. At present it seems like that the “Free Day Ride” will really become an annual event in Hong Kong that you should mark down in your calendar and should not miss when you are in town.
