Dim sum push cart is a traditional Yum-cha style in Hong Kong. In recent years there are not many restaurants serving dim sum with this traditional push cart anymore. In Sha Tin New Town Plaza 8th floor Maxim Palace restaurant we still can enjoy the special service style, the unique atmosphere and the push cart dim sum. Besides ordering from menu, you can pick up the dim sum you love from the Dim sum push cart passing by you all the time.
Waitresses push a cart of hot dim sum or fresh-made dessert walking around the whole restaurant. When they pass by the tables, they will stop a while to let you read the labels in front of the cart and choose the food you love. Unfortunately, in this restaurant all the labels on the push cart are in Chinese. But you can ask the ladies what they have on the carts and sometimes can see the dishes from glass cart.
