What can you expect from Hello Kitty Secret Garden ?

Hello Kitty Secret Garden Café is located in one of Hong Kong’s lesser-known areas in Tai Hang. The theme of Hello Kitty Secret Garden Café will be held in wooden-themed design. It is very similar to the Hello Kitty Le Petit Café in Hong Kong’s SOGO Department Store. It’s no surprise if you find out both cafés are actually operated by the same owner.

Since the Hello Kitty Le Petit Café in SOGO is rather small and guest can only enjoy their coffee and cake standing (it is more like a popup-store), it is about time that Hong Kong gets a real Hello Kitty Café where you can sit down, chat with friends and enjoy a good cup of coffee with Hello Kitty atmosphere.

Hello Kitty Secret Garden Café is the first dinning-in Hello Kitty themed Café in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, the location is a little bit inconvenient. But if you really love Hello Kitty, it should not be a difficulty for you.

The Hello Kitty Café has its Macau Store in September 2014. Located at Rua de S. Domingos, the Macau Hello Kitty Café offer Portugal flavors, like Hello Kitty tarts.

Is it worthwhile to visit Hello Kitty Secret Garden ?

We would like to point out: from our previous experience with the Hello Kitty Le Petit Cafe, we were not very happy with their food quality and price.

From their menu you will find,
– the Mango Grapefruit Salad in the Hello Kitty Secret Garden costs HKD 80+,
– a Hello Kitty Rose coffee costs HKD 40+,
– Secret Garden Hello Kitty Hamburg set costs HKD 90+ (with only a Hello Kitty head-shape panfried egg)
If you decide to visit them only because of Hello Kitty, be prepared that they may disappoint you. They sometimes mess up the Hello Kitty look on the food. We do believe there are plenty of space for Secret Garden to improve to be a super cute themed Café like Hello Kitty Sweets in Taipei and the Charlie Brown Café in Hong Kong.
