The AIA Great European Carnival finally confirmed the opening date from 21st of December 2017. It will be their return for the fourth year and this Hong Kong’s European style carnival will last again for 2 months throughout Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year. This year, the first 100 registrations will also receive a FREE Fast Track wristband (registration has already ended).
Due the great success of the past three years, the AIA Carnival decides to come back and continue the 4th year of fun. AIA Carnival has already turned to be Hong Kong’s must celebration during winter fest. Roughly 1,000,000 visitors enjoyed the 70 different types of rides, games and food booths. Most of the rides are directly shipped from Europe (Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Holland or Belgium). Many of them were shown outside of Europe for the first time.
Rides and Games
AIA Carnival will step up again with more games, bigger rides, and newer attractions. Last year the event returned with over 1,000,000 toys including favorite characters from Marvel, Sesame Street, Minions, Super Mario as well as Trolls from the latest Dreamworks movie. In 2015, it teamed up with Udderbelly Festival which hosts several events and festivals throughout the UK.
The carnival will be a mixture of fun rides, games, entertainment program, magical lanterns, digital experiences (only with e-tokens and RFID cards), live performances on stage and plenty of Asian and European food delights. Popular rides include the Apple Coaster, Booster Maxx ride, Dodgems, Gallopers, Mach 5 and Helter Skelter. New rides are opened weekly. In addition, there will be street artists and performers, 3D trick art and plenty of selfie opportunities with pirates, vikings and wild animals.
The Great Circus of Europe
If you are a circus fan, you will be happy about the following news. For the first time, AIA Carnival invited the Great Circus of Europe with the 25 mind-blowing artists all around the world.
Visitors of the Great Circus of Europe also can visit the AIA Great European Carnival for free. The circus show will take place also at the Central Harbourfront event space.
Carnival GTI Karaoke
Besides the rides and games, last year’s carnival also offered the Carnival GTI Karaoke. Participants of this special event had the opportunity to win a brand-new Volkswagen Golf GTI.
So are you ready for some fun and the carnival like atmosphere? Interested in thrilling rides, crazy performers and entertainers, exciting games? Wanna try some delicious food from around the world?
