When you walk along the bridge to the Central Star Ferry Pier, you will notice a large carnival is located opposite the ICF Tower II. After 8 years, the AIA – The Great European Carnival 2015 finally comes back to Hong Kong. Probably lots of carnival lovers still remember in 2006/2007 winter Hong Kong also had the carnival next to Victoria Harbour promenade, which was called “AIA World Carnival”.
The AIA – The Great European Carnival will take place for 2 months (from December 23, 2014 until February 22, 2015) and will become an annual event for the next three consecutive years in Hong Kong.
This time, the event becomes bigger. Be prepared for over 70 different types of rides, games and food booths. Most of the rides are directly shipped from Europe (Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Holland or Belgium) with many of them been seen outside of Europe for the first time.
Are you ready for the carnival like atmosphere with thrilling rides, crazy performers and entertainers, exciting games and delicious foods from around the world including a Bavarian beer garden, Chinese delights, British styled hamburgers and hot dogs, Spanish paella, waffles, crepes, churros as well as carnival all-time favorites candy, popcorn, lollipops and candy floss?
How much are the entrance tickets and where to purchase the tickets ?
Adult Tickets are priced at HK$ 125 (whereas admission is HK$ 25 and tokens HK$100) / Children (aged 3 – 11), seniors and disabled can purchase discounted tickets for HK$ 90 (whereas admission is HK$ 20 and tokens HK$70)
There are also two Fast Track Passes available: one for HK$ 800 called Fast Track Plus (includes the fast track wristband and HK$ 400 worth of tokens) and the normal Fast Track for HK$ 600 which only includes the fast track wristband. Please note that the Fast Track Passes are only available at the gate and do not include the general admission fee.
Tickets can be purchase online at www.ticketflap.com as well as at the gate on Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve and the second day of Chinese New Year.
