The Hong Kong Museum of History teamed up with the Kowloon Motor Bus Company (KMB) to organize the special exhibition “Journey with You: Hong Kong Bus Story” to celebrate and mark the 80th anniversary of the franchised bus service in Hong Kong.

Visitors have a chance to experience and learn about one of Hong Kong’s important forms of public transportation and its transformation within the past decades. The special “Journey with You: Hong Kong Bus Story” exhibition will feature various items selected from the Hong Kong Museum of History, the KMB archives as well as from private collectors. Bus fans and enthusiasts can explore and enjoy bus-related artifacts, historic photographs and audio-visual programs including old historic Hong Kong Bus tickets, uniforms or KMB Bus Stop Signs from different decades.

The special exhibition “Journey with You: Hong Kong Bus Story” will take place at the Hong Kong Museum of History from September 25 to November 11, 2013. The admission is free of charge.
