Finally, the waiting for one of the most anticipated events of the year is over. From 24th to 27th of August 2012 the Hong Kong Computer and Communications Festival 2012 open its gates to visitors at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai.
It is one of the most popular annual events in Hong Kong (other events like Food Expo, Animation and Game Fair are also very popular). Computer enthusiast and gadget lovers have been long anticipating the opening of one of Hong Kong’s most popular computer and electronic fairs of the year. The Hong Kong Computer and Communications Festival 2012 is a mecca for everything digital. Visitors have the chance to take a closer look at the latest trends including computers, software, accessories, MP3 players, digital cameras, video cameras, mobile phones, computer games and much more. Thousands of new products will be introduced and displayed and are even ready to purchase and take them home immediately. In order to attract customers, lots of companies will promote some of their products with discounted prices, such as HK$ 1 for a USB key for the first 100 guests last year.
Some piece of advice: In case you are interested to visit the Hong Kong Computer and Communications Festival 2012, we highly recommend visiting this electronic fair early in the morning. The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre will fill up quickly with crowds due to the popularity of the Hong Kong Computer and Communications Festival. You can get an idea about the crowds from the photo we took on last year’s Hong Kong Computer and Communications Festival. Be prepared that it will be very crowded in the late afternoon and evening hours. In addition, you also have a better chance to get one of the latest gadgets if you start early.
