Hong Kong Disneyland has just announced a big change from 2nd of January 2018. The centerpiece of the theme park, the Sleeping Beauty Castle will undergo renovation and upgrading. Not only because the Sleeping Beauty Castle is the symbol of Disneyland, but also the nightly fireworks show is always a highlight of the visit. Especially when the new Shanghai Disneyland opened last year with a 69-meter Enchanted Storybook Castle and larger park, Hong Kong Disneyland is under the pressure of losing potential customers. How the new Disney Castle will be?
Hong Kong Disneyland hasn’t yet disclosed the height of new castle, however it is confirmed that the new one will be bigger, taller and prettier. The new design will add elements from stories of 13 Disney princesses including Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Pocahontas, Jasmine, Tiana, Merida, Rapunzel, Mulan, Anna and Elsa.
