The annual Hong Kong Flower Show will be held from March 15 – 24, 2013 at Victoria Park in Causeway Bay. Organized by the Leisure and Cultural Service Department of Hong Kong the Hong Kong Flower Show is one of the major events to promote horticulture and the awareness of greening. This annual event is not only popular among flower and nature lovers but also among photographers. This year’s Hong Kong Flower Show will feature the “Dendrobium” as its theme flower and “Kaleidoscope of Spring” as its theme. The Hong Kong Flower Show 2013 will showcase many beautiful flower arrangements and gorgeous landscape displays. Aside from the flower and horticultural arrangement several educational and recreational activities will be held including student drawing competition, photo competition, exhibit competition, music and cultural performances, floral art demonstrations, plant maintenance workshops, guided visits as well as recreation programs and fun games. In addition, visitors have a chance to purchase flowers and other horticultural products at several stalls.

Tickets are available at the District Offices of the Leisure and Cultural Service Department venues as well as directly at the showground in Victoria Park for HK$ 14 (adults) and HK$ 7 (children, students, seniors aged 60+, persons with disabilities). Seniors (aged 60+) as well as persons with disabilities can enjoy free admission (concessionary rate) during Monday to Friday.
