Adjacent to the Hong Kong Space Museum is the Hong Kong Museum of Art located, one of the largest Hong Kong Museums. Established in 1962, the purpose of Hong Kong Museum of Art is to preserve the cultural heritage of China with a local focus. Hong Kong Museum of Art features more than 15000 different objects of ancient Chinese art from Han to Qing Dynasty. The fine collections include various fields of arts such as calligraphy, paintings, ceramics and art works and play an important role on preserving the cultural heritage not only of China, but also of local artists. How to Get to Hong Kong Museum of Art:

From Kowloon side: Take MTR subway/East Railway and get off in TST station/East TST station. Then take Exit J and walk through the department store SOGO which takes about 10 minutes walk.

From Island side: Either take the Star Ferry and stroll along the Victoria harbor towards the museum (Not more than 5-10 minutes walk) or take MTR subway and get off in TST station. Then take Exit J and walk through SOGO.
