The MTR Corporation will launch a Limited Edition Commemorative Ticket Set for the “Year of the Snake” starting from January 20th, 2013.

The Limited Edition “Year of the Snake” MTR Ticket Set is beautiful designed and features the design and artwork of two famous painters and modern illustrators. The life-like snake on the first commemorative ticket is painted by Zhao Shao’ang – an artist specializing in Lingnan painting – while the second design features a cute modern designed snake by Canadian illustrator Steve Mack. The MTR Corporation did an excellent job by choosing these two total different designs bringing together the past and present as well as differences between Chinese and Western culture.
