Visitors who would like to take the scenic and popular Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car ride need to prepare to pay higher prices. Ngong ping 360 announced another fare increase starting from December 1, 2013 onwards.
New prices for an adult round-trip cable car ticket in the standard cabin will be HK$ 150 (was HK$ 135). Children round-trip tickets in the standard cabin are about 50% of the ticket price and will be HK$ 75 (was HK$ 68) while round-trip tickets for seniors will be HK$ 105 (was HK$ 98). Visitors who would like to take one of the crystal cabins have to add a premium of HK$ 60 (single-trip)/ HK$ 85 (round-trip) to the standard ticket prices.
To compensate the recent price increase, Ngong Ping 360 launches a series of special promotions for Hong Kong residents being effective from December 1, 2013 onwards. Recent promotions include an instant 10% discount on ticket prices for on-site purchases made at Ngong ping 360 terminals as well as one free Ngong Ping 360 Standard Cabin round-trip ticket for Hong Kong residents visiting Ngong Ping 360 on their birthday.
In addition, Ngong Ping 360 launches the popular “360 Annual Pass” (which allows the pass holders to enjoy unlimited rides in a Standrad Cabin for an entire year) year round. Starting from December 1, 2013 Hong Kong residents can purchase the brand new “360 Annual Pass” any time for HK$ 450 (holders of the previous Year of the Snake, Year of the Dragon, Year of the Rabbit and Year of the Tiger Pass can upgrade their pass for HK$ 390) and four “360 Annual Passes” for HK$ 1,620.
