Important news of Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car for all visitors who are traveling in June to Hong Kong and would like to enjoy the popular cable car ride Ngong Ping 360. The Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car is scheduled for maintenance work on June 26 and 27, 2012 and will therefore be closed on these days. Attractions at the themed Ngong Ping Village such as the multimedia theaters as well as the Big Buddha, Po Lin Monastery and Wisdom Path remain unaffected and open as usual.
In case you are already in Tung Chung and still want to travel, experience and enjoy Ngong Ping Village and the surrounding attractions there are basically two alternative transportation options: 1) First, you could consider taking one of the blue Lantau Island taxis to Ngong Ping Village. Expect to pay about HK$ 180 for a single ride. 2) Second, you could take New Lantao Bus No. 23. Traveling time is about 45 – 50 minutes. From Monday to Saturday single fare for an adult is HK$ 17.2 (seniors and kids pay HK$ 8.6) and on Sundays and public holidays HK$ 27 (seniors and children HK$ 13.5).
