Similar to Adidas, the Nike Company has several Factory Outlet Stores in Hong Kong. Personally, we didn’t like the Nike Factory Outlet Store at Citygate Outlet Shopping Mall too much simply due to the fact that the sizes, colors as well as the variety of products have been quite limited. But as mentioned in our other related articles about Factory Outlet Stores, it really depends when you have a look, your preferences and what you are hunting for.

However, we liked the Nike Factory Outlet Stores located at Kwun Tong and North Point much more. The selection and variety of products were much more diversified and you were be able to get some bigger shoe sizes than US10. On average, you can save approx. 30-50% of the suggested retail price here in Hong Kong. The staff has been very friendly and helpful, but be aware that you will not get the latest collections.

Is it worthwhile to travel to one of the Nike Factory Outlet Stores?

Well, if you are already at the Citygate Outlet Shopping Mall or plan to visit Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car or Big Buddha, it won’t hurt to have a look at the Nike Factory Outlet Store which is close by. Aside from the Nike Store at the Citygate Outlets we would recommend taking a look at the Nike Factory Outlet Store in Kwun Tong. Would we recommend traveling there only for the Nike brand? If you also like Adidas or New Balance then it might be worthwhile to have a closer look, but frankly speaking, the best place to shop for sport shoes is and will be the Sneakers Street in Mongkok. You have a much larger variety of products, colors, sizes and collections. In addition, if you can’t find the shoe or product of your desire just walk a few steps to the next store/shop and try your luck. There are so many sport shoes stores and alternatives that no matter what you are looking for you will have a chance to get some real bargains. Ok…we have to admit if you have shoe size bigger than US13 you might have some hard time in Mongkok, too. But the chance to find a pair there is much higher than in one of the Outlet Stores.

Insider Tips: if your aim is not only to hunt for sneaker bargains and if you are already close to North Point you should consider to stop by at the Nike Factory Outlet Store at North Point especially if you are a food lover and/or would love to try one of Hong Kong’s best favorite street snacks such as Egg Waffles (Gai Dan Jaai), Egg Tarts or But Zhai Gou (Chinese style mini rice pudding served on two sticks with different flavours such as red been). Literally you can easily find these kinds of street food everywhere in Hong Kong, but in North Point you will find one of the best shops and stores (check out Lee Keung Kee North Point Egg Waffles)
