The Peak Tower, located on the Victoria Peak, is one of Hong Kong’s most stylish and modern architectural buildings. It houses three of Hong Kong’ most visited attractions: the terminal of the oldest public transportation “Peak Tram”, Hong Kong’s highest outdoor observation deck “Sky Terrace 428” and the Asia-first wax museum “Madame Tussauds”. Besides,it is also a complex of both dinning and shopping.

Sitting at 396 meters above sea level, The Peak Tower blends perfectly in the natural environment of The Peak and its surrounding. On clear sunny days you easily can spot the spectacular shaped The Peak Tower even from the Tsim Sha Tsui Waterfront Promenade at Victoria Harbour. The Peak Tower is also jokingly referred to as the “Rice Bowl” or “Wok” by locals.

The Peak Tower was designed by the British architect Terry Farrell and constructed in 1997. During 2005-2006 it has been altered to expend shopping space, add a viewing platform on roof and cover with glass modern look as you see today.
