Red Bull Flugtag 2014 Hong Kong
It’s the second time that Hong Kong hosts the RED BULL Flugtag event. The family friendly event was held the first time in 2010 and brought creative and crazy flight pioneers together. Human-powered planes and objects are given a 30 second chance for take off and show their skills, costumes and performances before landing in Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour. Hong Kong was the first Asian city to host this crazy creative fun event. Nowadays, 68 countries participate in the RED BULL FLugtag making it an entertaining day out for families and fun lovers.
The 2014 edition of the RED BULL Flugtag (meaning “flying day” in German) event saw close to 300 applications. After a tough selection process 40 teams have been chosen to fight for prices, fame and creativeness. Look out for Hong Kong’s creative teams such as “We Come in Peace” (using a giant replica of the traditional Hong Kong canned food tin), “C Allstar” with a shark-shaped aircraft or “Team T.F.A.W.S” (Tactical Formation & Aerodynamic Weaponry Sector) with their stylish vintage spaceship.
The RED BULL Flugtag 2014 event has been relocated from West Kowloon to the New Central Harbourfront Promenade. Admission is free. Be sure to arrive ahead of time in case you would like to experience the RED BULL Flugtag 2014 event. It is expected that over 50,000 people will attend this event this year.

Take MTR to Central or Hong Kong Station and exit at Exit A. Enter from Yiu Sing Street;
