The “A Symphony of Lights” Show will be suspended for three days starting October 4th to October 6th, 2012 to express mourning and respect to the victims of the vessel collision from October 1st, 2012.

On October 1st, a boat owned by Hong Kong Electric collided with a ferry off Lamma Island. The evening cruise carried more than 100 staff members, family, relatives and friends to enjoy the National Day Fireworks celebrations. Reasons for the collision still remain unclear. The Hong Kong Electric vessel sunk within seconds and more than 100 passengers fell into the cold water leaving 101 injured and 38 dead. This tragedy is the deadliest boat accident in Hong Kong in about 40 years.

Our deepest regret and sympathy goes out for the victims and the deceased.
