Hong Kong’s popular and iconic Peak Tram will temporarily suspend its service on January 15th, 2014. The suspension of the Peak Tram for one day is necessary to carry out the annual maintenance work. The Peak Tower and Sky 428 Terrace remain open as usual.

Visitors who would like to travel up to The Peak during the suspension period can either take up Bus No. 15 from the central Piers, Green Mini Bus No. 1 or alternatively a taxi (please read our related article about How to get to The Peak).

In addition, Bus No.15 will add a temporary stop at Garden Road Peak Tram Lower Terminus during the suspension period. In the meanwhile, the service of Bus No. 15C between Central Pier and Garden Road Peak Tram Lower Terminus will be suspended.

In case there are no unexpected occurrences during the annual maintenance work The Peak Tram should resume its service at 7am on Thursday January 16th, 2014.
