ToTT’s – Hong Kong Top Bars

“Talk of The Town” or in short ToTT’s is located on the 34th floor of the Excelsior Hotel in Causeway Bay. The restaurant and bar has a unique combination of indoor and outdoor dining. The roof terrace offers magnificent views of Hong Kong’s skyline – no matter if you decide to stop by at day or night. The bar does not only offer an extensive list of alcoholic beverages, but also has a live band performing at the evening hours.

The ToTT’s interior is held in a contemporary modern style. Some would say casual hip with some reminiscence on the 70s. Even if you stay inside for dining you will have a stunning view of Victoria Harbor and the Kowloon side due to the big floor-to-ceiling windows.

The food style is European mixed with little bit of Asian fusion while the cocktail menu has a somewhere Latin themed touch. Drinks include such exotic combination as Pineapple Batida or Lychee Mojitos. We highly recommend trying the Sunday Brunch. The Sunday Brunch of the ToTT’s is almost legendary. Live Jazz, a wide selection of made-to-order main courses, an incredible buffet with oyster-bar, free flow of champagne paired with the 180-270 degree stunning view on this beautiful rooftop terrace can hardly be topped. Prices for the Sunday Brunch are around HK$ 450-650.

Due to the close perimeter of one of Hong Kong’s busiest shopping districts (Causeway Bay), the ToTT’s is always very popular and perceived as one of the best places to carve seafood paired with an incredible view. If you wish to dine at this prime location or enjoy the Sunday Brunch make sure to call in and make reservation. If you just pop-up for a pre-dinner or pre-party drink, you might have a good chance to get a place at the outside area.

One piece of advice: the service of the ToTT’s is exceptional. The waiters are friendly, polite, and attentive as well as giving good recommendations. We liked it a lot that none of us had been “pushed” or pressed to order like in other restaurants and had given us enough time for the ordering. On the other side, the food experience was only mediocre. If you dine at this place you just have a higher expectation, especially with prices at European or US levels.
