When will the shopping malls set up Christmas displays and decorations in 2024?

Every year, from early Christmas till Chinese New Year is one of the best times to spend in Hong Kong. Usually it will be from the mid of November to next year’s January or February.

Usually the installation in Landmark is always full of imagination, transforming the mall into fairytale and fantasy. This year, Landmark sets up a giant ribbon wonderland and collects the art of gifting by the world-renownded artists, including the local artist Kasing Lung and his Labubu.

As always, besides enjoying the adorable displays and photo spots, visitors can also play the interactive games.

#3. Dazzling Christmas」 Displays @ Lee Tung Avenue (Wanchai)

In the previous years, Lee Tung Avenue teamed up with London’s Regent Street to bring us a very magical and festive Christmas. In 1954, London’s Regent Street was the first street to introduce festive lighting and decorations. Last year, Lee Tung Avenue teamed with Disney and presented everyone a sparkling Xmas.

This Xmas, Lee Tung Avenue teamed with the Belgium award-winning group “GLOBALL Concept” and created a shining atmosphere with traidtional Belgian lace designs. The highlight is the -meter hristmas tree with over 1000 baubles, wishing to bring everyone hope, joy and wonder.

#1. The Big Little Christmas @ Harbour City (Tsim Sha Tsui)

Hong Kong’s largest shopping mall Harbour City once again collaborates with the Japanese Minature artis Tatsuya Tanaka and bring everyone a very special Xmas setting. Two parts of the installations include the outdoor large-scale “The Big Christmas” and indoor art exhibition “Countdown to Mini-mas”.

The highlight of the outdoor installation is a giant 28-meter-long Santa’s working desk where you can find Santa’s stacked books and 10-meter-tall Santa’s hat.

Don’t forget to check out the indoor exihition “Countdown to Mini-mas” at Gallery by the Harbour. There are 25 Xmas-themed ninature sets of Tanaka as an advent calendar.

#2. A Milky Christmas with Peko & Poko @ Harbour City (Tsim Sha Tsui)

Besides The Big Little Christmas settings standing in the main entrance, Harbour City also prepares another themed Xmas decorations inside. This time they teams up with the popular characters Peko and Poko from FUJIYA Japan and celebrate this holiday with special “A Milky Christmas” displays. The Peko products have grown up with several generations and the cute “lip-licking” face of Peko is one of the most popular image to locals.
