LINE Friends Store opened in Hysan Place

LINE Friends opened its first store in Hong Kong in September 3, 2015. It chose to locate the store in one of the latest shopping mall Hysan Place in Causeway Bay.

What is LINE and LINE Friends ?

Original from South Korea, LINE is now one of the world’s leading mobile application (app) platforms for Apple (iPhone, iPad) and Android devices. Besides the similar functions like WhatsApp, WeChat and other instant messengers, LINE created a group of cute characters and made them into emoji stickers passing through users. It quickly became super popular in Asia countries and cities, such as Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and the company started to design and produce related merchandise to entertain the fans.

What will you find in LINE Friends Store ?

The LINE Friends store sells many LINE merchandise, some of which are is only available at the Hong Kong store. You will not find them from any other place.

The store consists of two parts : A pop-up store and a real indoor store. They are opposite each other and both are located on the 2/F of Hysan Place.

The LINE Friends store size is not really big since Hong Kong’s shop rent is ridiculous high. However, there are still plenty of unique merchandise available ranging from T-shirts, plush toys, stationery, stickers, plates and utensils.
