每一个在香港待过并搭乘过MTR的人都会记得站在站台的时候，广播会不停的重复：“往红磡的列车现在到站，请乘客不要超过黄线。上车时请小心站台与车厢之间的空隙。请先 让车上的乘客下车。谢谢合作。”然后你会听到典型的“哔哔哔哔”的关门警告声。有时候，这个“哔哔哔哔”声变成的香港人炫耀他们跑步速度和时间调控的最好信号。无论港铁怎么提醒他们不要冲门，也不论地铁或者火车有多挤，总是会有人在哔哔哔哔声中起跑，跳过列车与站台的空隙，在最后一声哔声时准确的挤进已经 挤满了人的车厢。
