Kaiser Estate Outlet (Adidas, Reebok, Timberland etc.)

The Kaiser Estate is located in an industrial building in Hung Hom (Kowloon). When you arrive in this industrial area you wouldn’t guess that inside the Kaiser Estate are some Factory Outlet Stores of world famous brands and probably would walk by without noticing. If you are lucky, one of the sale assistants placed a board outside stating “Adidas Factory Outlet (Tanka Sports)”.

Located on the first floor of the Kaiser Estate you will find a small Adidas Factory Outlet Store. Aside from the brand Adidas, you also can find Reebok and some other brands such as Timberland. In addition, there are several jewelry wholesalers on different floors. I’m not quite sure if they sell to individuals, but if you are interested you can try and ask.

Adidas Outlet at Kaiser Estate

The Adidas Factory Outlet Store is rather small and you don’t have chance to try on clothes. Prices are 30-50% off the suggested retail prices in Hong Kong. Sometimes you can even save up to 70% depending on the season and products. The only drawback is that they carry small sizes. If you don’t have the typical Asian size you will have a hard time finding a product you have been hunting for (especially if you are from Europe or North America and looking e.g. for shoe sizes bigger than US 10).

Personally, we found the Adidas Factory Outlet Store at the Kaiser Estate quite disappointing. The selections of items have been very limited when we visited this store and the savings were not as spectacular as we thought. Unless you are also looking for some jewelry items in this area we wouldn’t recommend traveling to this location. If you are looking for sneakers and sport shoes we definitely would suggest you to travel to the Sneakers Street in Fa Yuen Street Mongkok. The selection there is sheer stunning, prices are quite good (compared to Europe and the US) plus you are able to get the latest and most stylish editions at bargain levels.

Some advice: You can take the MTR to Hung Hom and walk to the Kaiser Estate, but we wouldn’t recommend it since it is at least a 15-20 minute walk. Simply take a taxi from Hung Hom or even from TST. As an alternative, you can take Bus 5C from the Star Ferry Terminal in TST.
Last but not least, in Phase I of the Kaiser Estate you also are able to find a Diane Freis Outlet Store (4/F, Unit B, Phase I, Kaiser Estate, 41 Man Yue Street, Hung Hom) and on the 6/F is VICA MODA (they carry cashmere and pashima scarfs, etc.) located.
