Updated information: Unfortunately, the Hard Rock Café in Lan Kwai Fong (LKF) shut its doors during the Covid-19 pandemic for good. The popular Rock ‘n’ Roll-themed chain restaurant as well as the Hard Rock Café Merchandise Shop (at the Peak) are permanently closed. For alternative options you can check out other restaurants and dining options in Hong Kong or take a look at one of the Hong Kong’s premier bar and nightlife district called LKF (Lan Kwai Fong). The next closest Hard Rock experience is the Hard Rock Hotel in Shenzhen.
Re-Opening of the Hard Rock Café in Hong Kong (2011)
Fans have been long waiting and anticipating the re-opening of the iconic restaurant and café in Hong Kong. During the past two years the popular Rock ‘n’ Roll restaurant chain had merely no presence in Hong Kong. Since the old location in Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui closed down in late 2008, fans could only purchase merchandise and memorabilia on Level 1 of the Peak Galleria.
The Rock of the Orient returned to Hong Kong and the newly opened restaurant is the heart of Hong Kong’s most famous and dazzling nightlife district: Lan Kwai Fong. The 400-square-meter restaurant can host up to 120 people. Prepare that especially on Fridays, weekends and holidays it will be packed. Having said that is highly recommended to reserve a table if you don’t want to wait in line too long.
