Windsor House x Rilakkuma Snowy Palace Christmas Exhibition 2017

Hong Kong is getting ready for the upcoming Christmas holidays. Restaurants, shopping malls and buildings are beautiful decorated to spread the joy and spirit of Christmas. The Windsor House shopping mall in Causeway Bay is no exception. This year the Windsor House and The ONE shopping mall choose the very cute Japanese cartoon bear Rilakkuma and his friends as a Christmas decoration. The Windsor House x Rilakkuma Snowy Palace Christmas Exhibition is actually the second part. Similar to the first part of 2017 Rilakkuma Christmas Exhibition in The ONE, the second part is also held as a special winter theme. You can meet all your favorite characters including Korilakkuma (the white bear cub), Kiiroitori (the yellow chicken) and of course Rilakkuma.

For the first time ever, you also have a chance to meet Chairoikoguma. However, don’t be confused. Although he looks like Rilakkuma, he’s a different character. You easily can recognize him at his darker fur, bushy white chest hair and fangs when he opens his mouth.

The complete exhibition includes interactive games, photo booths as well as a souvenir shop.

3 Photo Spots with Rilakkuma

In case you are a huge Rilakkuma fan, you will love these photo booths and selfie opportunities, which are special designed to take some cute and memorable pictures. The centerpiece of the Christmas exhibition is a 4.5-meter high wooden log cabin with a rotating Christmas tree on top. Rilakkuma is already in the Christmas spirit wearing a Santa Hat, enjoying some snacks and waiting to take some pictures with you.

Another photo booth is in front of the slide with Chairoikoguma and Korilakkuma. The snowy log in front of them is for taking pictures.

The next selfie hotspot is Santa’s sled. You can climb up on the sled the take the seat next to Rilakkuma. Delivering gifts to kids around the world is tiring. The Santa Rilakkuma obviously needs a break and he is relaxing on Santa’s sled.

3 Special Rilakkuma Fun Activity Highlights

The Rilakkuma Snowy Palace Christmas Exhibition has some additional fun highlights and interactive games. The biggest one is a special designed Rilakkuma Ice Slide. Enjoy a short slide and end up in a pool of Rilakkuma plush and snowballs.

Another highlight is a special designed Rilakkuma snow globe where you can get inside. Friends and family can take some unique pictures of you inside the snow globe with Rilakkuma.

Finally, there is a Pancake game booth. Piled wooden pancakes (Rilakkuma’s favorite) are waiting for you to knock out the red one. Winners will get some special goodies.

Windsor House x Rilakkuma Snowy Palace Pop-Up Store

The Windsor House also has a small Rilakkuma Pop-Up Store. T-Shirts, plush toys, pouches, handbags as well as plenty of stationery items. The Rilakkuma Pop-Up Store is located on the first floor. The opening hours are 12:00 (noon) to 9:00 pm. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday they open from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.
