Although the release for the Star Wars 7 movie is still away a few more weeks (official release in Hong Kong movie theatres will be December 17, 2015), Hong Kong is already getting crazy about the stories of Darth Vader, C-3PO, R2-D2, Boba Fett, Yoda, Princess Leia, Han Solo and Luke Skywalker.
Times Square in Causeway Bay is holding a special Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens Exhibition and you are able to take a closer look at some collections of Star Wars memorabilia from private collectors including figurines and models of the most popular and favorite characters as well as accessories such as the lightsabers and life-sized costumes of the main characters.
One of the highlights of this exhibition are the latest edition of the stormtroopers how they will appear in the Star Wars 7 movie. Eight life-size stormtrooper replicas have been shipped from the U.S. to Hong Kong and it is the first time that you can see how the stormtroopers will look like in the “The Force Awakens”.
Another highlight is a photo booth displaying 4 different lightsabres including the latest one from the new character Kylo Ren (the lightsabre with a cross).
And if that is not enough, stay tuned for the next upcoming Star Wars exhibition. Rumors has it that from November 17, 2015 there will be a Star Wars x Lego exhibition.
