This year has been a special year for all Hello Kitty fans. Hello Kitty has been celebrating its 40th anniversary and I can’t remember how many different brands, products and services used the opportunity to advertise with the little cute cartoon character from Japan here in Hong Kong. McDonald’s Hello Kitty K-League, Windsor House Hello Kitty Exhibition, Hello Kitty Secret Garden Café, all the Hello Kitty events were all along this year.

MTR x Hello Kitty Christmas Souvenir Ticket Sets

The year is almost over and Christmas is just a few weeks away. It is no surprise that there will be another Hello Kitty product out. This time Hong Kong’s MTR is launching special limited Christmas Souvenir Ticket Sets featuring Hello Kitty and her friends. I have to admit, all the sets are really cute.

When Will the “MTR & Hello Kitty Souvenir Ticket Sets” Be Launched ?

The whole “MTR & Hello Kitty Souvenir Ticket Sets” series will be on sale starting from December 7, 2014. There will be three sets in total, launched in three consecutive weeks until Christmas. Each set will include a special designed and Christmas themed Hello Kitty MTR souvenir ticket, a ticket holder, two Hello Kitty postcards and a designated Hello Kitty gift.

As mentioned the first MTR x Hello Kitty Christmas Souvenir Ticket Set will be launched on December 7, 2014 and is called “A Sparkling Christmas”. This limited edition set includes a special designed Hello Kitty decorative light Christmas tree ornament.

The “A Joyful Christmas” Souvenir Ticket set will go on sale from December 14, 2014 and includes a special designed MTR Music Train featuring Hello Kitty as a snowman on top of it.

The final set “A Heart Warming Christmas” will be available from December 21, 2014 onwards. This limited edition MTR set will include a special designed Hello Kitty electrical hand warmer.

Each MTR x Hello Kitty Christmas Souvenir Ticket Set will be available for HK$ 120 at all MTR Customer Service Centres (except Airport Express, Light Rail, Lo Wu, Lok Ma Chau, Racecourse and Disneyland Resort stations). In addition, each customer is allowed to purchase up to two sets.

All the souvenir ticket can be used for one ride on most of MTR lines and after using the ticket, you still can get the ticket back for memory (terms and conditions are applied).

Don’t underestimate the craziness of Hong Kong people about Hello Kitty. If you would like to get one of the MTR x Hello Kitty Christmas Souvenir Ticket Sets, be sure to get them on the issue day because anything related with Hello Kitty will usually be sold out very quickly.
