Year of the Pig Limited Edition Octopus Card 2019
This “Year of the Pig Limited Edition Octopus Card Set” is the latest series of the Chinese zodiac theme. Each set features two unique designs. The sets showcase the essence of Chinese traditional art and are very colorful.
In Chinese customs, the zodiac of the Pig is believed to represent hardworking, simple, not controversial, courageous, honest and good luck.
The set is numbered and limited to 2,000 pieces, which is highly collectable. As the name of the Year of the Pig limited edition Octopus Card already indicates, each Octopus Card will feature a pig. The Octopus Cards use joyful and festive colors as the centerpiece of each card showcasing traditional Chinese artworks.

Price of the Year of the Pig Octopus Cards and where to buy?
Each “Year of the Pig Limited Edition Octopus Card Set” is available for HK$ 288. The sets go on sale from 7:00am on January 9th, 2019 onwards.
They are available at all the 7-Eleven convenience stores in MTR Stations.
If you plan to get one set of the limited edition Octopus card as a great Hong Kong souvenir, then don’t wait too long. These kind of limited Octopus Card sets usually sell out very fast. They are highly collectable. The previous zodiac themed Octopus cards sold out literally within hours.
Please note: like previous years, this special “Year of the Pig Octopus Card 2019” is a Sold Octopus Card and won’t come with initial or stored value. Furthermore, they are only available as the Adult Octopus Card.
